Meet Ian Abbey

I am Ian Abbey and I head the team at Ian Abbey Consulting here in the UK, with projects across Canada, USA, Ghana and Nigeria. We are a professional consulting firm with over 15 years dedicated to helping organisations improve performance, deliver projects successfully, and unlock new growth opportunities. Ian is a first class graduate of banking and finance and holds a Msc in Business Economics from the University of Westminster London. He is also a certified Scrum Master/ Agile Coach and has a Dr in Business Administration from the London school of Economics and Political Science; Amongst others.

My expertise in agile transformation business development stratagy and professional training has helped in supporting businesses to build high performing teams, optimise processes and acheive measurable results. My approach combines practical industry experience, strategic insights and habd on coaching to help orgisations manage and navigate complex challenges and drive sustainable growth. I look foward to woking with organisations who want to transform their business models to fit into todays work enviroment.

Elizabeth is a seasoned mediator, negotiator and expert in workplace conflict resolution and compliance. She holds a First Degree in Political Science and an MSc in Conflict, Statebuilding and Development from the University of Birmingham, alongside several professional certifications.

With over 20 years of experience spanning banking, FMCG and Non for profit organisations, Elizabeth brings a wealth of cross-industry insight and leadership to the team. She serves as Lead Mediator at Jeatt Mediation and Consulting and also leads the Mended International Initiative.

Elizabeth is known for her sharp business acumen, strategic thinking and her ability to navigate complex organisational challenges with clarity and confidence.

Wangari Muchiri

Wangari Muchiri

Director-Africa

Wangari is the Director of Africa at the Global Wind Energy Council. She is a Renewable Energy Engineer and Energy Planning expert leading GWEC's initiative, Africa Wind Power, which aims to increase the development and deployment of wind power across the continent.

Prior to joining GWEC, Wangari gained experience consulting in renewable energy, green buildings and sustainability throughout Africa, Oceania and beyond. She has received several awards including being named a Global Climate Leader by Insider, African Power & Energy Elite, Obama Leader for Africa, and a "REvolutionaries" award winner.

Wangari holds a BEng (Renewable Energy) from the University of New South Wales and an MEng (Energy Planning and Policy) from the University of Technology, Sydney. She is also pursuing her Executive MBA at Oxford University and speaks fluent English and Kiswahili.
